![]() One thing I am 100% certain about though is that Lady Gaga is a natural actress. I bet, in fact I put money on being in store for plenty more shocks and maybe, just maybe, I'll not be quite so fond of her as the series ventures on. Yes, there is a shocking ulterior motive, and as such, I didn't think I'd like her very much, but she has warmth to her character and, it would seem, genuinely believes that she is caring in her own inimitable way. I simply knew that Lady Gaga would be playing an overtly sexual role, and we don't have to wait long to see her powers of seduction - of both men and women. Rarely do I find the subject of vampirism to be good entertainment, but, as with everything given the 'American Horror Story' treatment, this is both gripping and original. She is the epitome of a well-coiffed, ethereal beauty. Yes, Madame Gaga breaks all the rules, and gets away with it. I am none the wiser as to the Lady's height. I don't think he's of normal appearance, but just as with the child in 'Rosemary's Baby', the mother's love is unconditional. The audience haven't been shown what the baby boy looks like as yet. I am only on episode three so far, but I feel sure that her character has suffered her own personal torment as a young woman back in the 1920's, and this involves a child of her own, a son, whose gestation period was ridiculously brief. She stops Chloe Sevigny's doctor character from getting beaten by her hugely tall and strong right hand man, understanding her pain at losing her little son some four or five years back, the son she herself, as the Countess, abducted, along with some other children. Although she is playing the part of a vampire, she has many likeable qualities. Admittedly, I was expecting Lady Gaga to be a first-rate actress, and she hasn't let me down. She does, and beautifully elegant outfits. How wrong was I about a member of AHS to NOT wear high heels. I have been putting off this comment, but the time is right now to discuss my observations on the Lady. ![]() There will be some excellent chances to take in the true heights of anyone playing a part from medieval times, because he or she WON'T be stonking around in shoes of any kind!Įven the style of language is realistic for these early settlers, now angry spirits, who met their ends through sacrifice.Īnd to think - I read some negative reviews for this particular Season! For those with an interest in barefoot heights, this is the one for you! I am on episode 4, and she is seen with the 5ft10 Cuba Gooding Jr and she is a healthy head and more shorter than he is. If you remember, Elizabeth I (1558-1603) 'cleaned' her teeth with honey! ![]() Yes, we do get to see a barefooted Lady Gaga this time round, one who sports the sort of teeth that would have been the result of natural decay and lack of dental hygiene. ![]() The Lady plays an English redheaded peasant girl, alive at the end of the 16th/beginning of the 17th centuries, where the practice of paganism and witchcraft was rife. Lady Gaga is guesting in Season Six as well, and everything I thought about the wearing of high shoes for a horror series applies in this particular Season. ![]()
